On Tuesday May 25th - Eight Janesville elementary schools will visit the Daluge Dairy Farm and Arndt Farms, Inc. While on these two farms, the FFA members will serve as tour guides and teach the 4th grade students about where their food comes from. The stations at the Daluge dairy farm will include milking, milk house, calf huts (pictures here), small animals, Farm Safety, Dairy Products with ice cream, horses, and the free stall barn.
While at the Arndt Farms, the students will see the beef feedlot, augie wagon and feeds, machine shop and equipment, sheep, mint, swine, wildlife, and how soybeans and corn are being used as something other than feed. Here are all the FFA members infront of the machinery station.
